Girl, break in those heels! The Amazing High Heel Race is coming back into town for it's 3rd annual appearance on Saturday June 15. Individuals will race through Hillcrest gathering the vibrant colors of the LGBT Pride Flag at participating businesses. Individuals may also be required to complete (mostly PG-13 rated) "tasks" that will take them through the neighborhood. After racing through Hillcrest in heels, each comptetitor is invited to Gossip Grill for a huge Heel Race awards celebration.
The event is a celebration of diversity and a exercise in unity, and total investment in enhancing the quality of life in San Diego's most vibrant neighborhood. Every dollar raised from this event goes towards the ongoing funding of the HIllcrest Pride Flag.
